The program descriptions below give you a snapshot of each learning objective and let you decide what is most meaningful to you. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Morgan Byrne.

Alternative Breaks

Your donation to the Bennion Center gives students a space to learn how they can become active citizens and work to address unmet social and environmental justice needs. You can help students have an Alternative Breaks experience that otherwise may be unaffordable for them.

Bennion Scholars

Bennion Scholars dare to try to change the world through capstone projects that connect their academic studies to community identified needs. Working closely with community partners and faculty mentors, Scholars have addressed topics such as the diabetes epidemic, implicit bias, and how the elderly experience homelessness. Funding will provide scholarships and supplies to help them complete their projects.
