Summer Saturday Service Project

Earth Community Garden

About: Volunteers will help restore old church into a community center. Projects may include gardening, assembling furniture, facility restoration, etc. Exact projects to be determined.

Age requirements: 18 years or older

Other notes: Wear clothes that can get dirty, stained, or ripped. Bring a hat and sunscreen.

Edible Campus Garden

About: Volunteers will work in the campus garden to weed, plant, and trellis vegetable plants.
Volunteers: 15
Address: Pioneer Garden
Age requirements: Children 16 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Other notes: Wear clothes that can get dirty, stained, or ripped. Bring a hat and sunscreen.

Feed U Food Pantry

About: Volunteers will help with organizing cans and other non-perishable food items in the pantry.
Volunteers: 10

Age requirements: 13 years or old

Good Samaritan Foundation

About: Volunteers will help prepare and distribute breakfast, interact with the neighborhood through planned activities (e.g. lawn games, face-painting, coloring station, etc.) and set up, take down, and clean up.

Age requirements: None

Other notes: Wear light clothing appropriate for the outdoors. Bring a hat and sunscreen.
