Saturday, September 19th, 2020 - 9am to 12:30pm

Registration is now closed

if you have already registered, please view the updated addresses for each project below

We will not be able to take any walk-ups due to the nature of the pandemic

Please note that due to university policies related to COVID-19, only those with a UNID (students, staff, faculty) are able to register this year. However, we will be providing ways to engage remotely in your communities in the coming weeks.

The Bennion Center is excited to invite students, staff, and faculty to participate in the 17th Annual Legacy of Lowell Saturday Service Project taking place on Saturday, September 19th, 2020. All projects (unless noted in the project description) will take place from 9:00 AM- 12:30 PM. This timeframe will include an orientation of the community organization and project, direct service, and reflection time.

Snacks will be provided, but we encourage volunteers to bring any additional nourishment they need, sun protection such as a hat or sunscreen, and water.

WE ARE TAKING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC SERIOUSLY!

Due to the nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, all projects will take place in small physically-distanced groups and volunteers are required to wear face coverings (nose & mouth). To participate in one of our projects, you must register ahead of time. We will not be able to take any walk-ups due to the nature of the pandemic. This event is currently limited to enrolled students, faculty, and staff - community members are encouraged to join with us in the spirit of Lowell Bennion by participating in community engagement efforts on their own and connecting with us on social media.

In order to help prevent the spread of the virus, anyone who is feeling ill or showing symptoms of COVID-19 will be asked to stay home this day.

Updates and reminders will be sent out to registrants prior to Legacy of Lowell.
