Fellowships and Scholarships

The Bennion Center offers several opportunities for significant financial support, made possible by the generosity of our donors. Applications are available at the Bennion Center, University Union Room 101, and online. See below for more info.

Helping Hands Scholarship - Student leaders may apply fall and spring semesters for up to $500 to supplement costs related to their service commitment. This endowment fund was created to honor Irene Fisher’s legacy as the founding director and to encourage service and leadership. Applications are accepted year around.

AmeriCorps Service Education Award - Applications for Bennion Center student leaders, Service-Learning Scholars, and America Reads tutors are available continuously and accepted on a rolling basis until all slots for the year are filled.

Telitha Ellis Lindquist Community Service Scholarship - Applications will be available soon.

The Alumni Association/Bennion Center Summer Community Service Fellowship - Applications are due Feb 22, 2012. Notification of chosen applicants by early March.

The Barbara L. Tanner Community Service Fellowship - Applications are due by 5:00 PM on March 30, 2012.
