Internship Opportunities
The Planned Parenthood Association of Utah student group, VOX, is looking to fill a paid internship. This position would require the student to act as the
VOX group leader, which is essentially the president of the club. We currently
have VOX groups at 6 college campuses in Utah which include the University of
Utah. In the past student organizers have tabled at events, and promoted voter
registration as well as the Planned Parenthood mission.
The University of Utah Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Resource Center (LGBTRC) and the Alumni Association are partnering to provide one internship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Contingent on receiving this internship in the amount of $4,000 ($2,000 fall 2011/$2,000 for spring 2012), the intern will agree to work approximately 15 hours a week doing development and alumni relations in the LGBTRC for the 2011-2012 academic year.
